Fonissa sits right on the harbour at Skiathos Town, a seafood restaurant on the waterfront strip where the day's catch comes in from local boats. Tables run to the edge of the marina under a timber-beamed pergola, their wood tops carried on dark metal bases, with a woven pendant and small lamps for the evening and a green screen closing one side. Beyond the rail, sailboats and fishing boats sit on calm water against a pine-green hillside. RIERA dining chairs, with their woven seats and backs, fill the tables along the water, and taller stool versions of the same line draw up to the counter.
