Rhodos Horizon Blu stands on the western seafront of Rhodes Town, fifty metres from Psaropoula beach and a short walk from the Medieval City, on the side of the island where the sun goes down into the Aegean. A full renovation turned the former city hotel into an adults-only address and gave it a vocabulary the Dodecanese knows well: white arcades, pale marble underfoot, tall palms around a curved pool that seems to pour into the bay. The pool deck is furnished as one composition, with OLYMPUS sunloungers set in ranks under the scalloped canopies of the ORAMA umbrellas, so the terrace reads as a single gesture from the restaurant windows to the water. Behind the arches, the dining room and the lounge bar keep the same airy register, every seat turned towards the view. It is a hotel made for the long Rhodian afternoon, and for the sunset that ends it.
