Moldee is a bar and restaurant in central Thessaloniki, set on the ground floor of a listed 1970s building and designed around the idea of a fine-dining plate. The architecture is sculptural and restrained: speckled terrazzo underfoot, ribbed plaster panels lit from within, a curved ceiling that carries the light and a fluted bar topped in marble, all of it kept quiet so the food stays the focus. Full-height glazing opens the room to the street. The dining chairs sit at the stone pedestal tables and a row of slim bar stools lines the marble counter, low and unobtrusive against the architecture.
