Paradiso Villas occupy a small peninsula at Ammoudi, on the quiet north-east coast of Zakynthos, where the land runs out between pines and olive trees and the Ionian lies on three sides. The architecture takes its cue from the island itself: rough local stone, reed-covered pergolas, curtains of knotted rope that filter the light instead of blocking it. Life here is lived outside, and the furniture follows it, from the CIELO sunloungers lined along the infinity pool under DELUXE umbrellas to the BROSSARD lounge armchairs in the shaded sitting room of the pergola. Indoors the villa stays just as unhurried, all warm plaster and natural fibres, with SPLIT stools drawn up to the kitchen island. It is a house for people who came to hear the sea, and who plan to do very little else.
