In the Rethymno countryside of Crete, at Pigianos Kampos, Calore is a large contemporary villa built for groups around an idea of effortless elegance, its clean white volumes set against panels of rough local stone and looking out to the hills. A geometric pool with sunken seating wraps the lower facade, shaded by broad square parasols. Along its edge, LUXOR sunloungers and round BUNNY daybeds set the resort-like poolside scene, while against the stone wall a low OLYMPUS sofa and a VAGONG lounge chair gather around ODISHA tables for a shaded sitting room in the open air. It is sleek, light-filled and quietly luxurious, a private house that behaves like a small resort.
