Kepos is the spa at Daios Cove on the north-east coast of Crete, its name taken from the garden where Epicurus once taught the art of wellbeing. The sanctuary is built around soft arched vaults and cove lighting, with stone pool surrounds, an indoor hydrotherapy pool and canopied treatment beds set over terrazzo and marble, while above it a villa terrace cuts into the cliff with a small pool dropping toward the sea. The mood is calm and meditative. AROA loungers line the indoor pool, and the relaxation lounge keeps a quieter group of armchairs by a slatted timber screen.
