In the green hills of northern Zakynthos, a short walk from St Nicolas Bay, Verdante is a small collection of private-pool villas that practises a studied minimalism: natural materials, clean volumes and a quintessential seaview calm drawn from the raw Ionian landscape. Rubble-stone walls meet poured-cement terraces and a reed pergola, with an infinity pool reaching out over the valley. ERMITA II armchairs sit by the water's edge, while under the pergola a CAVALETTO table and RENDOVA armchairs hold the shaded dining spot, their open cord weave echoing the woven roof above. Indoors, ANDANTE stools draw up to the kitchen island, carrying the same quiet line inside. It is secluded and sun-washed, a house that lets the landscape stay the loudest thing in the room.
